Wag the Dog | Review

Welcome back! This week, we look at another timely, underrated film, Wag the Dog. It's directed by Barry Levinson (Rain Man) and co-written by David Mamet (Glengarry Glen Ross). The cast is also prime, with Robert DeNiro and Dustin Hoffman leading a large ensemble.

The film is a late 90s political satire, in which the US president stages a fake war to avoid a massive sexual scandal. Sound familiar? Maybe a little too familiar?
