We’ve scanned the movie schedule for 2020, and it truly looks like the best of times and the blurst of times.  Lots of sequels, prequels, remakes, rehashes, reboots, and screwups.  Still, look carefully and you’ll find some good with the bad and ugly.

As kids, most of us loved pitting random action figures against each other.  Superman vs. He-Man, who would win?  (I mean, Superman, duh…)  For this episode of Cinemavino, we play Matchups with some powerful pop culture figures and put it to a vote.

(*WARNING:  SPOILERS ABOUND*)  Season 1 of The Mandalorian is in the books, and it’s been a resounding success for Disney+.  Ratings and critical reception have been sky-high, and it looks like the series will be here to stay.

As a Space Western, The Mandalorian gets stronger as it goes along.  The action scenes are killer, and it has attitude and atmosphere to spare.  This feels like the breath of fresh air Star Wars has needed for a good long while. -
